Iranian President Reaffirms Commitment to Nuclear Programme

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will not abandon its nuclear programme or relinquish its right to pursue peaceful nuclear activities, according to the state-run IRNA news agency.
During a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, Pezeshkian emphasized that while Iran is open to dialogue and willing to offer guarantees to build international confidence, its nuclear programme will not be dismantled through threats or military pressure.
“Iran is prepared to engage in constructive dialogue and cooperation to foster trust regarding its civilian nuclear efforts,” Pezeshkian reportedly stated.
He also issued a warning concerning ongoing Israeli military actions, saying that Iran’s response to continued attacks would be “even more devastating,” according to the report.
The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and renewed scrutiny of Iran’s nuclear ambitions by Western powers.
