United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that the man killed by US federal agents in Minneapolis last week was an “agitator and perhaps an insurrectionist.”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the individual’s reputation had declined following the release of a video allegedly showing him shouting and spitting at a calm and controlled ICE officer. The president was referring to footage said to capture the man in a confrontation with federal agents 11 days before he was killed.
